UCSD does not only offer a great education and a pretty campus, you will also find a hiking trail on the North Western End.

Black Canyon Trail not only offers shade a some fitness equipment, but if you’re bold you will have some nice views on the Eastern end. Be careful though, there are some pretty steep parts, appropriate shoes are definitely required.

You will start at the UCSD Campus station and make your way northwest. The trailhead is located on Voigt - and Hopkins Drive. The hike is a loop so you will end up where you started.

If you’re hungry, enjoy lunch at Ridgewalk Social, just a little bit up the road.
