The LOSSAN Rail Corridor is falling into the ocean and tracks must be realigned to ensure the continued survival of the nation’s second-busiest passenger rail corridor.

RideSD organized LOSSAN supporters from across the region to attend SANDAG’s public scoping meeting on the realignment. At this meeting they expressed their strong support for the rail corridor. In addition to submitting many written comments, these supporters made up almost every public speaker at the meeting.

This work is incredibly important because not-in-my-backyard residents opposing the rail corridor have been the loudest voices, and we must ensure that the broader region is represented in issues that impact all of us.
