Our vital rail corridor connecting San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Luis Obispo is at risk. Alarmingly, in 2023 alone, the link between San Diego and Los Angeles has faced disruptions on 80% of the days. With the escalation of climate change, these disruptions are only expected to increase.
However, hope is on the horizon. A dedicated state senate subcommittee - the LOSSAN Rail Corridor Resiliency Subcommittee - is not only addressing these challenges but also crafting a sustainable, long-term solution.
