This month we’re going south! Southern California’s largest coastal wetland awaits us!
We are going to meet at the bus stop “Imperial Beach Blvd & 4th St” at 10:21am. From there we are going to do an easy loop hike of about 4 miles.

Where, What, How?

We are going to meet at the bus stop “Imperial Beach Blvd & 4th St” which is accessible via bus routes 933 and 934.

We will walk from there to the Tijuana Estuary Visitor center and do a 3-4 mile loop.

After the hike we will get on public transport again and have lunch at NOVO Imperial Beach (535 Florence St, Imperial Beach, CA 91932).

We’re hoping to arrive there by 1:15PM, so feel free to join us there directly.

What Should I Bring?

• Your PRONTO card or app

• Hiking Gear

• Hiking Hat (there is little shade on the trail)

• Sunscreen (there is little shade on the trail)

• Enough Water (did we mention there is little shade on the trail?)

What if I want to Come by Car?

We are not gonna shame anyone that has to come to the trailhead by car but it’s lot more fun joining us on the bus together. If you live further away, A good compromise is parking your car at Palm Avenue Transit Center. The 933/934 leaves from there and takes your right to the start.
